James Gunn confirmed that the sequel to his successful 'Superman' film, titled 'Man of Tomorrow,' will begin filming around April 2026 and is scheduled for release on July 9, 2027. The story will feature Superman, played by David Corenswet, and Lex Luthor, portrayed by Nicholas Hoult, reluctantly teaming up to face a much larger threat, with the film being as much a Lex Luthor movie as it is a Superman movie.
