The previous day, August 28, saw even higher activity with 195 clashes, highlighting a consistent trend of intense fighting. The General Staff noted that the most active areas included Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, and Kupyansk, with significant employment of various weaponry by the enemy. The situation remains critical as Ukrainian defenses continue to hold against persistent assaults.
