2025-26 Ashes Schedule Announced

Cricket Australia has announced the schedule for the 2025-26 Ashes series, marking a significant change as it will begin in Perth for the first time since 1982. The opening Test will take place at Perth Stadium from November 21-25, followed by a day-night Test at the Gabba in Brisbane from December 4-8. Adelaide Oval will host the 'Christmas Test' from December 17-21, while the Boxing Day Test is set for the Melbourne Cricket Ground from December 26-30, concluding with the New Year's Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground from January 4-8, 2026. This series will not only feature the Gabba's first day-night Ashes Test but also reflects the declining status of the venue which has not hosted the opener for over four decades. The series is anticipated to generate substantial interest, with Cricket Australia urging fans to plan their travel accordingly.
