The University of Arkansas has launched the Razorback Raffle, a 50/50 raffle designed to support the Razorback Foundation and its athletic programs. Authorized by the Arkansas Sports Raffle Act signed into law by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the raffle allows fans aged 18 and over residing in Arkansas to purchase tickets online, via the official app, or in person at sporting events, with no limit on the number of tickets. The inaugural raffle coincides with Arkansas baseball's final home series against Tennessee, with half the pot awarded to a lucky winner and the other half supporting the University's athletics funding amid upcoming college sports revenue-sharing changes. The raffle is operated by BUMP 50/50, a subsidiary of Blast Gaming, which has experience running similar raffles for other universities. The winning ticket will be randomly selected during the game and publicly announced, with proceeds aiding Razorback Athletics and potentially supporting NIL efforts in the future. This initiative aims to provide fans an engaging way to contribute financially to Arkansas athletics while complying with state philanthropic gaming laws.
