Man charged in fatal trolley stabbing in Miami

Lamont Collins, 46, has been charged with second-degree murder after allegedly fatally stabbing 49-year-old Adolf Bailey Bruce on a Miami trolley. The incident occurred at Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 29th Street, where surveillance footage captured Collins yelling at Bruce before the confrontation escalated into a physical altercation. Despite attempts by the trolley driver to de-escalate the situation, Collins repeatedly stabbed Bruce, who later died from his injuries at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Witnesses and police report Collins fled the scene but was quickly apprehended. The area was temporarily closed as police conducted their investigation.
