The glasses' live translation feature provides real-time audio translation between English, French, Italian, and Spanish, even offline with pre-downloaded language packs. Users can hear translations directly through the glasses and view transcripts on their phone, enhancing cross-language communication for travelers and expats. The glasses offer hands-free access to Meta AI for queries, object recognition, music streaming, capturing media, and making calls or sending messages via WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram. The new Skyler frame and lens options cater to style-conscious consumers. Meta's expansion comes amid increasing competition in the smart eyewear market, with speculation about future Apple offerings.
