Lindsay Lohan, Jamie Lee Curtis Reunite for Freakier Friday Sequel

Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis have reunited to star in the upcoming sequel to the 2003 hit "Freaky Friday," titled "Freakier Friday," which will be released this summer. The film expands on the original body-swap concept with a multigenerational twist involving Anna (Lohan), Tess (Curtis), Anna's daughter, and her soon-to-be stepdaughter, bringing new chaos as they swap bodies. The sequel explores family dynamics as Anna prepares for her wedding, with tensions rising between her daughter and future stepdaughter, all while the characters navigate the challenges of merging families. The movie features returning cast members such as Chad Michael Murray and new additions including Manny Jacinto and Julia Butters, directed by Nisha Ganatra. Ahead of its release, Lohan addressed rumors about her youthful appearance, attributing it to her routine rather than cosmetic surgery. "Freakier Friday" will premiere in Australia with a red carpet event featuring Lohan and Curtis, and opens in cinemas on August 7-8.
