A massive landslide in central Nepal swept two passenger buses carrying at least 60 people into the Trishuli River, leaving dozens missing. Rescuers, including military and police personnel, have been searching the swollen and murky river, but no signs of the buses or the passengers have been found yet. Weather conditions have slightly improved, allowing the deployment of heavy equipment and divers to aid the search operations. Three survivors managed to escape by jumping off the buses before they were swept away, and they are currently receiving medical treatment. Nepal's Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has instructed all agencies to conduct effective search and rescue operations. The landslide is part of a series of monsoon-related disasters that have claimed at least 91 lives in Nepal since mid-June.
