Braun Strowman Recovers From Career-Threatening Injury With Stone Cold's Help

Braun Strowman, a former WWE Universal Champion, clarified that he is not fully retired from wrestling but is currently taking a break to heal and explore other ventures, such as his tequila brand Quintaliza and starring in the new USA Network show Everything On The Menu. Despite being released by WWE in July 2025 and not wrestling since April, Strowman’s ties with WWE continue through this show, although he missed its premiere due to illness. He recounted a real heated moment with Brock Lesnar during a 2018 Royal Rumble match and shared how Stone Cold Steve Austin helped him recover from a severe neck injury in 2023 that temporarily paralyzed his arms and nearly ended his career. Under Vince McMahon, Strowman was treated as a main event star, but after Triple H took over WWE creative, he was relegated to mid-card status before his eventual release. Strowman has expressed gratitude for WWE’s care during his injury and remains engaged with opportunities outside the ring while enjoying life beyond wrestling.
