Mumbai-based D2C lifestyle brand Zouk has raised $10 million in a Series B funding round led by Aavishkaar Capital, bringing its total funding to $14.5 million. The company plans to expand its offline presence from 5 to 75 stores across India, enhance its marketing and supply chain, and invest in talent. Co-founder Pradeep Krishnakumar highlighted the brand's strong consumer base and product-market fit, emphasizing the need for physical stores where customers can interact with products. Zouk specializes in handmade bags and luggage made from 100% vegan leather, serving over 700,000 customers, and has recently ventured into new luggage products. The company reported a revenue increase to Rs 47.41 crore for FY23, although losses also rose to Rs 10.55 crore. Investment Director Divya Gupta expressed confidence in Zouk's potential to capture a significant share of the growing bags and accessories market in India.
