Akron Police responded to the 800 block of West Market Street around 12:25 a.m. and transported the victim to Cleveland Clinic Akron General, where he was pronounced dead. Investigators from the Major Crimes and Crime Scene units are actively interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence to identify the perpetrators.
