Blake Harrell has officially been named the 23rd head coach of East Carolina University (ECU) after successfully leading the team to a bowl game as interim coach. Harrell, who has been with ECU since 2020 as defensive coordinator, went 4-0 in his interim period, helping the Pirates secure bowl eligibility for the third time in four years.
