Philadelphia Opens New Schuylkill River Trail Bridge

Philadelphia has officially opened the Christian to Crescent extension of the Schuylkill River Trail, a $48 million project that closes a key gap between Center City and the Grays Ferry Crescent. The new half-mile, 2,800-foot segment features a 650-foot cable-stayed pedestrian bridge, an illuminated tunnel, and amenities such as lighting, benches, and landscaping.
