Shooting Kills 2, Injures 6 at Los Angeles Festival Afterparty

A mass shooting at an unofficial after-party for the Hard Summer 2025 music festival in downtown Los Angeles resulted in two deaths and six injuries. Police initially shut down the party around 11 p.m. after spotting a potentially armed individual who was arrested on the scene. Shortly after officers cleared the venue, gunfire was reported around 1 a.m., leading to the discovery of one male victim dead at the scene and a female victim who later died in hospital. Six others were wounded and transported to local hospitals, with their conditions unknown.
