Microsoft has appointed Carolina Dybeck Happe, former CFO of General Electric, as its new executive vice president and chief operations officer, marking the company's first COO since 2016. Happe will join the senior leadership team, reporting directly to CEO Satya Nadella, and will oversee multiple divisions including Commerce + Ecosystems, Microsoft Digital, and Microsoft Business Operations. She played a pivotal role in GE’s turnaround and its split into three independent companies.
