Louvre Hosts First Major Fashion Exhibition

The Louvre Museum in Paris has launched its first major fashion exhibition, titled 'Louvre Couture: Art and Fashion,' which runs from January 24 to July 21, 2025. This groundbreaking exhibition features over 65 haute couture pieces from renowned designers such as Chanel, Dior, and John Galliano, displayed alongside the museum's extensive decorative arts collection, bridging the worlds of fashion and art. Curator Olivier Gabet emphasized the exhibition's aim to invite visitors to experience fashion as a significant form of artistic expression, showcasing the historical connections between haute couture and various eras of art.
