The Delhi High Court granted bail to multiple individuals involved in high-profile cases. Hyderabad-based businessman Arun Ramchandra Pillai received bail in a money-laundering case related to the alleged Delhi excise policy scam, in which the 'South Group' reportedly paid Rs 100 crore in kickbacks to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Similarly, Chanpreet Singh Rayat and Sameer Mahendru were granted bail in the same excise policy case. Additionally, former DHFL promoter Dheeraj Wadhawan was granted bail on medical grounds in a multi-crore bank loan fraud case, despite previous bail denials and ongoing health issues.
