70-Year-Old Man Killed in Rochester Hit-and-Run
Henry "Hank" Brown, a 70-year-old Rochester resident, died early Saturday morning after being struck by a vehicle in a suspected hit-and-run incident on South Union Street near Canfield Place. Brown was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. The Rochester Police Department's Major Crimes Unit is actively investigating the case and has urged anyone with information or video footage to come forward. Brown was a well-known figure in Rochester's East End, having worked for over three decades as a doorman at Salinger's Pub. The area where the incident occurred was temporarily closed but has since reopened to traffic. No charges have been filed yet in connection with the crash.
