Fire Damages Vacant Naperville Home Over $700,000

A vacant home undergoing renovations in the 600 block of Nanak Court, Naperville, was severely damaged by an early morning fire on Saturday, with damages estimated at over $700,000. The fire was first reported around 4:38 a.m., quickly engulfing the first floor and spreading to the second floor. Firefighters from the Naperville Fire Department, along with crews from neighboring departments, worked to control the blaze, which was extinguished around 7 a.m. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as the house was unoccupied at the time of the incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and the home has been deemed uninhabitable. Fire officials emphasized their efforts to manage hot spots after bringing the fire under control.
