Bad Bunny, Danny Ocean Lead Premios Juventud Nominations in Panama

The 22nd edition of Premios Juventud will take place on September 25, 2025, in Panama City, marking the first time the awards ceremony is held outside the United States to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Leading the nominations with six each are Bad Bunny and Venezuelan artist Danny Ocean, signaling a historic rivalry and highlighting Danny Ocean's rise in Latin music. Other prominent nominees with five nominations include Anitta, Beéle, Carín León, Emilia, Myke Towers, Netón Vega, and Peso Pluma. This year, the awards feature 41 categories spanning music, television, streaming, and social media, with eight new categories added to reflect evolving trends such as Best Alternative Mexican Music Song, Latin Afrobeat of the Year, Podcast of the Year, and #GettingReadyWith for fashion and beauty creators. The ceremony will be hosted by Clarissa Molina and broadcast live on multiple Univision platforms, with winners decided by popular vote. The expansion of digital and social media categories from four to eight emphasizes Premios Juventud's commitment to engaging the connected generation and showcasing diverse Latin talent.
