Philip Billing Joins Napoli on Loan from Bournemouth

Danish midfielder Philip Billing has officially joined Serie A leaders Napoli on loan from Bournemouth, with the option for a permanent transfer valued at approximately €10 million. The 28-year-old, who has made 201 appearances for Bournemouth since joining from Huddersfield in 2019, has struggled for playtime this season, featuring in just 10 matches with one start. Napoli, managed by Antonio Conte, is looking to bolster their squad as they pursue their first Scudetto since 1990 while also preparing for the potential departure of star winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain. Billing's loan move follows the signing of goalkeeper Simone Scuffet and midfielder Luis Hasa, aiming to deepen the squad's resources for the title race. Despite last-minute interest from AC Milan, Billing chose to honor his commitment to Napoli, where he will earn €1 million during the loan period.
