Suicidal Tendencies Announce 2025 Australia, New Zealand Tour
Suicidal Tendencies are set to return to Australia and New Zealand in late 2025, joining Metallica and Evanescence as special guests on the massive M72 World Tour while also performing their own headline shows during off days. This tour marks several firsts for the band, including the release of their first new single in seven years, "Adrenaline Addict," featuring Australian vocalist Nisha Star, and the first shows in Australia and New Zealand with drummer Jay Weinberg. The lineup for 2025 consists of founding member and vocalist Mike Muir, guitarists Ben Weinman and Dean Pleasants, bassist Tye Trujillo—son of Metallica's Robert Trujillo—and drummer Jay Weinberg, son of Max Weinberg from The E Street Band. The band will perform in major cities including Perth, Melbourne, Frankston, Brisbane, Sydney, and Auckland, with support from Big Noter, a new metal project by Australian hip-hop artist Briggs. This tour also marks Suicidal Tendencies' first performances in Auckland and Perth since 2018 and reflects the band's ongoing evolution as they approach their fifth decade in music. Metallica's M72 tour will take place in large stadium venues, marking their first tour in Australia in 12 years.
