Eric Ebron Announces Retirement from NFL

Eric Ebron, former Pittsburgh Steelers tight end, has officially announced his retirement from the NFL after eight seasons. Ebron, who initially gained prominence as a first-round pick for the Detroit Lions, shared the news on Instagram, expressing pride in his career and gratitude towards everyone who supported him. Throughout his career, Ebron recorded 351 receptions for 3,837 yards and 33 touchdowns, with notable seasons at both the Indianapolis Colts and the Steelers. His best year came in 2018 with the Colts, where he achieved Pro Bowl status by catching 66 passes for 750 yards and 13 touchdowns. Ebron concluded his time with the Steelers, where he posted 68 catches for 642 yards and six touchdowns over two seasons before being released in 2022.
