Two Stolen Trucks Lead to Police Pursuits

Two pickup trucks stolen from a Carson City dealership early on December 30, 2024, were involved in high-speed pursuits in Los Angeles later that same day. The thefts were reported at 2 a.m., and following notification to California authorities, the California Highway Patrol located the vehicles and pursued them separately through the city, reaching speeds of over 100 mph. Both drivers were apprehended without injuries, although one Highway Patrol vehicle sustained minor damage. Initial investigations suggest that the suspects may have planned the thefts as they were seen on the dealership lot prior to the incident.
