BBC BritBox Releases Trailer for Midlife Punk Rock Drama Riot Women

The new BBC drama "Riot Women," created by acclaimed writer Sally Wainwright, is set to premiere on October 22, 2025, on BritBox and BBC One. The six-part series follows five menopausal women—a teacher, a police officer, a pub landlady, a midwife, and a shoplifting freeloader—who form a punk rock band to compete in a local talent contest, finding empowerment and expression through music.
