Trucker Dies Assisting Stranded Driver in Kansas

Rudolph Martinez, a 65-year-old truck driver from Dodge City, was tragically killed after being backed over by a semi-truck he was trying to assist in navigating through a snow-covered parking lot in Ellsworth County, Kansas. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. on Monday when Martinez was helping the 44-year-old driver of a 2018 Freightliner. Despite his efforts, Martinez was struck and pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver, Brandon Wade Adams from Missouri, was unharmed.
