Graeme Millar Named CEO of Islands Energy Group

Islands Energy Group has appointed Graeme Millar as its new chief executive officer, effective immediately. Millar, who previously led Jersey Telecom and its Internet of Things division, succeeds Jo Cox, who resigned in September following a controversial tenure marked by a significant gas outage and a deadly explosion in December 2022. Millar expressed enthusiasm for his new role, emphasizing the importance of gas in the transition towards net zero energy solutions. He aims to enhance energy security and resilience in the Channel Islands, which include Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle of Man. The company has been operating under interim leadership since Cox's departure, with Aidan Baglow temporarily filling the role. Millar will gradually transition into his position over the next two months.
