F1 Academy, More Than Equal Partner to Boost Female Drivers
F1 Academy has announced a partnership with More than Equal, which will serve as its Official Driver Performance and Research Partner, aimed at enhancing support for female drivers in motorsport. This collaboration is designed to create a structured development pathway for young female talent, providing specialized training, including a dedicated physiotherapist for drivers. The initiative, launched in 2023 and backed by Formula 1, seeks to increase visibility and opportunities for female racers, with 18 drivers supported in the 2025 season. Managing Director Susie Wolff emphasized the importance of evidence-based approaches to foster real change in female participation in motorsport. More than Equal, co-founded by former F1 driver David Coulthard, aims to identify and develop potential female champions in the sport. This partnership marks a significant step towards addressing the historical lack of female representation at the highest levels of motorsport.
