SiriusXM Launches South Asian Channel Dhamaka

SiriusXM Canada has launched a new South Asian channel, 'Dhamaka,' which blends traditional South Asian music with contemporary North American sounds. Available on channel 796 and the SiriusXM app, the channel features a diverse range of genres from artists across the South Asian diaspora, including well-known Canadian artists like Karan Aujla and international stars such as A. R. Rahman. The channel is programmed by Raoul Juneja, who aims to celebrate and promote both local and global South Asian music talent through exclusive interviews and live performances. Michelle Mearns, SiriusXM Canada's SVP, expressed pride in showcasing the incredible South Asian talent and providing listeners with an opportunity to discover new music.
