Inspired by 'The Princess and the Frog,' the attraction continues from where the movie ends, involving guests in the storyline as they help Tiana organize the party. The revamp follows Disney's decision to replace Splash Mountain, which was based on the controversial 1946 movie 'Song of the South,' in response to social justice movements. The ride retains the log-flume system with a 50-foot drop, offering a blend of thrilling elements and rich cultural storytelling. The Chase family, behind the iconic Dooky Chase's Restaurant, played a significant role in the ride's development, with Leah Chase serving as an inspiration for Tiana.
