Former Rugby Player Tom Voyce Found Dead

Former England rugby player Tom Voyce, 43, was found dead in the River Aln, Northumberland, four days after his car was discovered submerged in 7ft of water following Storm Darragh. An inquest revealed that Voyce's Toyota Hilux was swept away while attempting to cross a ford on December 7, the night he was last seen leaving a pub in Glanton. His wife reported him missing the following morning, prompting a search that involved emergency services and volunteers. His body was ultimately recovered on December 12 by a member of UK Search and Rescue. Following his tragic death, his wife Anna expressed her devastation, and former teammates paid tribute to his legacy in rugby. The inquest is scheduled to conclude on April 1.
