Ireland Announces Squads for West Indies Series
Ireland has named 14-man squads for its upcoming white-ball series against the West Indies, who will tour Ireland for the first time since 2019. The three-match ODI series is scheduled for May at Clontarf, followed by a three-match T20I series in June at Bready. Paul Stirling will captain both squads, with Lorcan Tucker as vice-captain. Uncapped players Cade Carmichael, Tom Mayes, and Liam McCarthy have been included after strong performances with the Ireland Wolves. Mark Adair misses the ODI series due to injury but is expected to play in the T20Is. Selectors highlighted growing squad depth and credited the Wolves program for developing emerging talent.
