Buku Abi Accuses R. Kelly of Abuse

In a new documentary titled "Karma: A Daughter’s Journey," Buku Abi, the daughter of R. Kelly, has alleged that she was sexually abused by her father from the age of eight or nine. She recounted the trauma of the experience, revealing that she first disclosed the abuse to her mother in 2009 when she was ten years old, but by that time, legal action was not possible due to the delay in reporting. R. Kelly's attorney, Jennifer Bonjean, has denied the allegations, asserting that similar claims made by his ex-wife were investigated and deemed unfounded by the Illinois Department of Children & Family Services. Abi expressed deep emotional pain, stating the incident changed her life significantly and that she struggled with the trauma for years. The documentary also features commentary from Kelly's ex-wife, Andrea, and their other children, all of whom have shared their experiences with the singer. R. Kelly remains adamant in denying any wrongdoing.
