Shondra Zimmerman Found Dead After Nevada Police Chase

Shondra Renee Zimmerman, a 44-year-old resident of Grass Valley, was reported missing on February 19, and her body was later discovered in the home of her friend, Andrew Gall, in Nevada City. Deputies located Zimmerman's car at Gall's residence, but no one was present at the time. A subsequent search for Gall and his vehicle led to a high-speed chase early on February 20, ending in a crash. Gall was arrested and charged with reckless evasion, a felony parole violation, and DUI. The circumstances and cause of Zimmerman's death remain under investigation, pending autopsy and toxicology results. The Nevada County Sheriff's Office is urging anyone with information to contact their major crimes unit.
