Edmonds Police Seek Suspects in Shooting

Edmonds Police Department is actively searching for five suspects involved in a shooting that left an 18-year-old man in critical condition near the waterfront on January 9. The shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. after a brief verbal exchange between the victim and the suspects, none of whom knew the victim or his sister, who was present during the incident. Surveillance footage has been released showing the suspects, and police are investigating the possibility of gang involvement. Despite the ongoing investigation, authorities do not believe there is an ongoing public safety threat. The Edmonds Police urge anyone with information to avoid approaching the suspects and to call 911 instead. The victim remains hospitalized at Harborview Medical Center.
