American 'Hitwoman' Aimee Betro Arrested in Armenia

American alleged hitwoman Aimee Betro, wanted for a failed assassination attempt in the UK, has been captured in Armenia after being on the run for nearly five years. She was accused of trying to kill clothing store owner Sikander Ali on the orders of Mohammed Aslam and his son Mohammed Nazir, with the gun jamming during the attempt. Betro, who fled to the US after the failed hit, was found in a flat in Yerevan and faces extradition back to the UK. Aslam and Nazir were convicted of conspiracy to murder in Birmingham, with Betro's arrest following extensive tracking efforts by authorities.
