Oldest Panda Ying Ying Gives Birth to Twins

Ying Ying, the oldest giant panda to successfully give birth for the first time, delivered twin cubs at Hong Kong's Ocean Park on August 15, the day before her 19th birthday. The birth of the male and female cubs, weighing 112g and 122g respectively, marks the first-ever panda twins born in Hong Kong. The pregnancy and birth were closely monitored by experts due to the rarity and difficulty of giant pandas breeding in captivity, especially at Ying Ying's age. Visitors will have to wait a few months to see the cubs as they are currently receiving round-the-clock care due to their fragile condition.
