Grandaddy Embarks on First North American Tour in 20 Years, Celebrating 'The Sophtware Slump' 25th Anniversary

Grandaddy has announced their first North American tour in 20 years to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their acclaimed 2000 album, The Sophtware Slump, which they will perform in full along with other favorites. The tour begins September 11 in San Diego and concludes October 18 in Philadelphia, with stops across the U.S. and Canada, including notable dates in Toronto, Montreal, Brooklyn, and Los Angeles. Pedro the Lion will support most West Coast dates, while Greg Freeman will open on Midwest and East Coast legs. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 9. The Sophtware Slump, known for its reflection on technology and humanity at the dawn of the internet era, remains relevant in today's tech-driven world. Grandaddy recently released a new album, Blu Wav, in 2024, continuing their legacy as indie rock innovators.
