Texas Musicians Raise $1M for Flood Relief

Texas country musician Pat Green hosted a livestream benefit concert at Globe Life Field, raising over $1 million for victims of the July 4 floods in the Texas Hill Country, which killed at least 132 people including members of Green's family. The event, streamed free on YouTube, featured performances from Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, and Jon Pardi, with proceeds managed by The Pat Green Foundation and supporting local relief organizations. Green spoke of his personal loss and framed the event as a source of hope and resilience for the community. Additional benefit events, such as Robert Earl Keen’s 'Applause for the Cause' on August 28 and 'Together for Texas' at the Tobin Center, have also been announced to support ongoing recovery efforts.
