Cinespia Launches 24th Summer Movie Season at Hollywood Forever

Cinespia's 24th season of outdoor movie screenings at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles will begin Memorial Day weekend with 'The Big Lebowski' on May 24 and a 30th anniversary screening of 'Clueless' on May 25, followed by a May 31 tribute screening of David Lynch's 'Blue Velvet' in honor of the late director. The series, presented in partnership with Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video, is known for projecting films onto the side of a mausoleum, allowing up to 4,000 guests to picnic on the Fairbanks Lawn. Each event features DJs, themed photo booths, and food and drink offerings, including a beer and wine bar, with attendees encouraged to bring their own snacks and drinks. Cinespia has become a beloved Los Angeles summer tradition since its inception in 2002, drawing large crowds for its unique blend of cinematic nostalgia and community experience.
