Cocaine bust at Blue Water Bridge

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials have reported multiple significant drug seizures at various border points recently. In Port Huron, Michigan, authorities seized over 370 pounds of cocaine valued at approximately $16.5 million during a traffic stop, marking the largest drug bust in the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office history. In Texas, CBP officers at the Hidalgo Port of Entry found nearly 300 pounds of cocaine worth over $4 million concealed in a tractor-trailer during a secondary inspection. Additionally, officers seized almost $800,000 worth of cocaine from a Chevrolet sedan at the Hidalgo International Bridge, underscoring the ongoing challenges of drug smuggling at the U.S.-Mexico border. Port Director Carlos Rodriguez highlighted the dedication of frontline officers in combating drug trafficking, as these seizures reflect ongoing efforts to secure the nation's borders.
