Minnesota Shooter Claims Walz Ordered Killings in FBI Letter

Vance Luther Boelter, accused of killing former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, wrote a rambling letter to the FBI claiming that Governor Tim Walz instructed him to assassinate Senator Amy Klobuchar so Walz could run for her Senate seat. Boelter, who also attacked State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, allegedly impersonated a police officer during the shootings and left behind a manifesto listing 70 political targets. Authorities have found no evidence to support Boelter's claims against Governor Walz, who has condemned the politically motivated violence.
