Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened its first hotel in Croatia, the Hyatt Regency Zadar, marking a key milestone in the company’s strategic expansion across the Balkan Peninsula. Located near Zadar’s UNESCO-listed Old Town on the Adriatic coast, the hotel features 133 well-appointed rooms and suites with panoramic sea or historic town views, blending historic architecture with contemporary design and a distinctly Mediterranean atmosphere. The property offers diverse dining venues inspired by Dalmatian, Italian, and international cuisines, along with a 1,155-square-meter Lavanda Spa featuring indoor and outdoor heated pools, saunas, and unique treatments such as the Maraška ritual. Hyatt Regency Zadar also includes over 7,965 square feet of flexible event space suitable for corporate and social gatherings, emphasizing its appeal to both leisure and business travelers.
