Passenger Arrested for Sexual Battery Assault Delta Employee Salt Lake City Airport

Cody Sierra Marie Bryne, 31, was arrested at Salt Lake City International Airport after a series of aggressive incidents involving Delta Air Lines employees. Initially refusing to move from the airplane aisle during boarding, Bryne pushed a Delta worker into a seat with her shoulder, prompting the pilot to order her removal. While being escorted off the plane, she attempted to flee into a secure airport area and, when stopped by employees, she grabbed one by the neck, pulled her hair, and then sexually assaulted her by grabbing and twisting her breast while issuing a threat. Bryne subsequently tried to exit the airport and was found attempting to book another flight. Despite denying the assault, she admitted to drinking earlier, and officers noted she was severely intoxicated and uncooperative during arrest. She faces charges including sexual battery, assault, interfering with a peace officer, and public intoxication.
