Cork County Council invests €108.9M in housing initiatives

The land market in Co Meath experienced significant growth last year, with average prices reaching €17,669 per acre. A total of 97 farms were examined, showing a range of prices from €5,862 to €31,299 per acre, indicating strong demand for agricultural land. Notable sales included a 139-acre farm in Ratoath that sold for over €3.7 million and a 102-acre farm at Ashbourne for approximately €2.3 million. Coonan Property and Raymond Potterton were among the firms reporting impressive sales figures, with many properties fetching between €22,000 and €25,000 per acre. The trend reflects a robust land market, particularly in the southern parts of Meath and near larger towns. As demand remains high, the outlook for land prices continues to be positive.
