Delta Airlines Adds 40 Flights for College Football Season

Delta Air Lines is launching its largest-ever college football flight schedule this fall, adding over 40 new flights and approximately 8,000 additional seats to accommodate fans traveling to major games. The expansion targets 25 college towns, including South Bend, Columbus, and Gainesville, coinciding with highly anticipated matchups such as LSU at Clemson and Texas at Ohio State. Most flights are scheduled to depart on Fridays and return on Sundays, allowing fans to enjoy the full weekend of festivities. Both mainline Delta and Delta Connection flights will be utilized, making access to stadiums more convenient and reducing the need for layovers. The initiative is designed to support the tradition of college football by making it easier for fans to attend key games throughout the season. Service will run from late August through November, aligning with the college football calendar.
