Gunn describes the previous projects, including Peacemaker and The Suicide Squad, as 'light canon,' meaning they are part of the lore only if referenced in future works. He assured fans that Peacemaker's second season will take a different direction and is poised to surprise audiences. Additionally, Gunn praised actor David Corenswet, who will portray Superman, calling him 'one of the best actors' he's worked with.
