Wigan Athletic Signs Burnley Striker Dara Costelloe

Wigan Athletic has signed 22-year-old Irish forward Dara Costelloe from Burnley on a three-year contract with an option for an additional year, marking their third forward signing of the summer alongside Christian Saydee and Paul Mullin. Costelloe, who began his career at Galway United and moved to Burnley in 2021, impressed during loan spells at Accrington Stanley and Northampton Town, scoring 11 goals combined last season. Wigan's head coach Ryan Lowe praised Costelloe's hunger, ambition, and ability to threaten in the final third, highlighting his experience at the EFL level and his potential to enhance competition among the club's attacking players.
