EU Imposes Sanctions on Israeli Individuals for Human Rights Abuses

The European Union has imposed sanctions on Israeli individuals and entities, citing 'serious and systematic human rights abuses' against Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Among those sanctioned are leaders of organizations like Lehava and individuals involved in unauthorized outposts and obstructing humanitarian aid to Gaza. Sanctions include asset freezes and travel bans, totaling 113 natural and legal persons and 31 entities under the EU Global Human Rights Sanctions Regime. The EU is preparing to impose additional sanctions on Israelis in Judea and Samaria, including those engaged in settler violence and obstructing aid shipments to Gaza.
