Porter Airlines Launches Year-Round Service Toronto-LaGuardia

Porter Airlines has launched year-round service between Toronto Pearson International Airport and New York’s LaGuardia Airport, expanding its presence in the New York Metropolitan Area where it has already operated flights to Newark since 2008. The new route offers up to three daily roundtrip flights using 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, featuring a two-by-two seating configuration with no middle seats. Passengers on all fares receive complimentary WiFi, premium snacks, and beer and wine, with additional amenities such as extra legroom and priority check-in available through PorterReserve or à la carte. This expansion provides travelers with more choice and flexibility and connects U.S. passengers to Porter’s network of Canadian destinations via Toronto Pearson. Porter’s network now uniquely includes Billy Bishop, Pearson, LaGuardia, and Newark, enhancing travel options between the two cities. Porter’s leadership emphasizes that New York is a key market, and the LaGuardia service complements its strategy of increased convenience and capacity for travelers.
